Publication of the adapted GMP+ C6

Due to new market demands and the introduction of new GMP+ B documents, changes in the GMP+ C-documents were necessary to create business opportunities and securing Feed Safety.

GMP+ International has worked closely together with the subcommittee Certification & Compliance to complete the new GMP+ C6 Assessment and Certification Criteria for GMP+ Certification – Process Certification. Subsequently the GMP+ C-documents have been approved by the International Expert Committee.

Below you will find the main changes:

  • Adapted audit times for auditing the Feed Responsible Assured (FRA) scopes.
  • For GMO Controlled it is possible to bring Trade in feed GMO controlled, Storage & Transshipment of feed GMO controlled and Transport of feed, Road transport GMO controlled under Multi-Site certification.
  • Audit times for FRA Multi-Site certification have been made clearer.
  • GMO Controlled has been split into activities and shall create more transparency on the GMP+ certificate towards the GMP+ community.
