Feed safety scheme holders in Europe, unite to harmonize

Mutual recognition between OQUALIM and AIC, GMP+ International, OVOCOM and QS as from 1st of January 2021

Since January 2018 there was a temporary mutual recognition with OQUALIM. After further negotiations AIC, GMP+ International, OVOCOM, OQUALIM and QS are pleased to announce to have reached an agreement on the conditions for a final mutual recognition agreement.  The mutual agreements between the 4 scheme holders and OQUALIM will be finalized shortly and will be valid for a period of 3 years from January 1, 2021.

RCNA International certificate is equivalent to GMP+ FSA, OVOCOM, QS et UFAS certificate for the following scopes.

  • Production and placing on the market of compound feed, mineral feed, liquid feed, milk replacers and premixes.
  • Distribution and trade of compound feed, mineral feed, liquid feed, milk replacers and premixes or Distribution of feed materials and additives for animal feed. Distribution and trade of feed materials or additives must always be combined with a manufacturing or distribution activity for premixtures or compound feed.

Les acteurs européens de certification pour la sécurité sanitaire des aliments pour animaux unis pour une harmonisation

Une reconnaissance mutuelle pérenne entre OQUALIM et AIC, GMP+ International, OVOCOM et QS à partir du 1er janvier 2021

Depuis janvier 2018, OQUALIM bénéficiait d’accords temporaires. Après de nouvelles négociations, l'AIC, GMP+ International, OVOCOM, OQUALIM et QS sont heureux d’annoncer qu'ils ont convenu un accord sur les conditions d’une reconnaissance mutuelle définitive. Les accords mutuels entre les 4 détenteurs de référentiels et OQUALIM seront finalisés prochainement et seront valables pour une période de 3 ans à partir du 1er janvier 2021.

La certification RCNA mention International, est équivalente aux certifications GMP+ FSA, OVOCOM, QS et UFAS pour les portées de certification suivantes :

  • Production et mise sur le marché d’aliments composés, aliments minéraux, aliments liquides, aliment d’allaitement et prémélanges.
  • Distribution et négoce d’aliments composés, aliments minéraux, aliments liquides, aliment d’allaitement et prémélanges ou distribution de matières premières et additifs pour l’alimentation animale. La distribution et le négoce de matières premières ou d’additifs pour l’alimentation animale doit obligatoirement être couplée avec une activité de fabrication ou de distribution d’aliments composés.
