After providing the current GMP+ examination methodology for almost 20 years to the GMP+ auditors it was time to change the process.
Five times per year GMP+ International offers auditors the opportunity to do a GMP+ exam. The exams take place on limited dates, various locations and are also print-outs. We concluded that the current examination can be more efficient, therefor change was necessary. We want to offer GMP+ auditors more flexibility to take a GMP+ exam.
In collaboration with provider eX:plain we started the examination project mid-2018. Our main goals were:
The digital examination will significantly reduce logistical planning and costs, improve the ease of executing the exam, and offers an updated validity period.
In September, we held a first pilot in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. We received constructive and positive feedback, from the participants. Together with eX:plain, we have the aim to improve the examination constantly. All the results of the pilot will be shared during the Harmonization meeting in November and the new way of examination is due to start in Kuala Lumpur, March 2020.
