Protection and registration of GMP+ International trademarks

Protecting and registering the names and logos of GMP+ International’s activities are about more than claiming ownership.

Every year we invest in protecting and safeguarding our product names and logos on a global scale. We do this to ensure that feed safety is more than just a promise but an actual commitment. Not only from us at GMP+ International but also from the GMP+ Community. They work tirelessly to live up to the standards that the scheme requires them to do. It is therefore important that we make sure that using the logo’s e.g. of the GMP+ Feed Certification scheme are used properly and are used only by the ones that have met the requirements for said use.

EU Trademark Office: GMP+ FSA word mark granted

We can now confirm that on 12 August , 2021 the European Trademark Office has granted registration to the word mark GMP+ FSA in relation to “foodstuffs for animals including premixes and compound feed” and “non-medicinal additives”. The word mark GMP+FSA is the fourth certification mark registered by GMP+ International B.V.

This means that the term GMP+ FSA is protected and that companies (certified or not) can only make use of this term under the conditions stated on our website and in our F 0.1 Rights and Obligations.
